About Me

I grew up in Agency, Missouri, a small community 45 minutes north of Kansas City. I was the first to go to college in my family. From a young age I developed interests in business, leadership, and serving others:

• Business - If you watched Family Ties, you'll remember Alex P. Keaton. That was my nickname. I started carrying a briefcase to school in Ms. Wagner's 3rd grade class.
• Leadership - I loved playing sports. I didn't look to become the team leader, but I would get asked. 
• Serving others - When I was young, my grandmother was diagnosed with stage four cancer. The care, compassion, and love shown by healthcare workers impacted me. 

While in graduate school at the University of Missouri I married my high school sweetheart, Andrea. We have 4 amazing daughters, and 2 poochons, Buster and Bella.
